I have several areas of research culminating in how adolescents cope with their stressors, and particularly how social media can act as the medium for those stressors or the stressor itself. My work has explored the varying motivations and changes in motivation between the online and real world, methodologies employed to measure the multifaceted nature of coping, and the interaction of motivational profiles, social media, and adolescent's well-being.
